Weaver’s Cottage
This stone home was erected circa 1798 on the foundation of an 18th century Log Building owned by John Quinn, Weaver and the original proprietor of the townships first Tavern, The Fox Chase Inn.
For many years the cottage was associated with the Inn, now a private residence.
It was destroyed by fire in 1976
Marker is at the intersection of East Swedesford Road and N. Ship Road, on the right when traveling west on East Swedesford Road.
