Warner Sisters
After the death of their father, Susan (1819-1885) and Ann (1824-1915) Warner lived and worked on Constitution Island on the Hudson, gardening, writing popular books and famous song “Jesus Loves Me.”
They regularly administered to the free religious study of the West Point cadets. During winter they stayed in Highland Falls. Both are buried in the West Point Cemetery.
Marker is at the intersection of Main Street and Cozzens Avenue, on the right when traveling south on Main Street.
