Town Hall and Jail
Here stood the first municipal building in Trenton, 1809 – 1837. Later used as a public school, the present building, erected 1850, was the first school house to be built from public funds in the Trenton of that day.
Marker is on Academy Street 0.1 miles east of North Montgomery Street, on the right when traveling west.
