This Dwight D. Eisenhower Green Ash
Was planted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 1599 in honor of all those men and women who served in the U.S. Armed Forces during World War II. This living memorial will stand as a humble reminder of the sacrifices and dedication of these men and women, and the millions who supported them from home, all of whom contributed to the freedoms we enjoy today.
Marker is on W. King Street near US 11, N. Main Street, on the left when traveling west.
