Swearingen - Langford House
690 E. Church St.
Built in 1925 for John J. Swearingen, Florida attorney, State Senator, Spanish-American War veteran, and wife Mary Harding Rainey. Later the home of daughter Katherine Swearingen Langford and her husband Richard H. Langford, prominent citrus grower and cattleman. Designed by noted architect Clayton Bonfoey, builder of many historic landmarks in Tampa.
Marker is at the intersection of East Church Street and North Oak Avenue, on the left when traveling east on East Church Street.
