Smith Homestead
Site of stone house built by pioneer settler Wilhelm Smith in 1759. Replaced by his descendants c. 1850 present Greek revival style frame structure which incorporates fabric from the original dwelling
Marker is on Albany Post Rd (County Route 18) 0.1 miles south of Van Aist Rd. (New York Route 17K), on the left when traveling north.
