Saint Stephen's School and Parish

Saint Stephen Catholic Church and Parish was founded in 1922. As a part of its commitment to Catholic Education, the parish opened a school in 1934, serving about 150 students. Benedictine Sisters from Cullman, Alabama, ran and taught at the small school. The school closed in 1973. A monument located on the property next to the parish, stands as a testament to this institution that served the youth of Pensacola for four decades. Today, St. Stephen Catholic Church offers a Traditional Latin Mass, a unique worship experience in the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee.
