Riverside Cemetery

Established in 1830, many of the region's pioneers are buried here. Included are veterans of all wars from the Revolution to World War II. In two sections lie unnamed Confederate soldiers who participated in the defense of Jackson during the War Between the States, 1861 - 65.

Marker can be reached from the intersection of Riveside Drive (Tennessee Route 8183) and Bates Street & Sycamore Street, on the left when traveling south.
