Riga Academy
A flourishing school for boarding and day pupils was organized here in 1846. The building was earlier known as Thomson's Tavern.
Marker is at the intersection of Chili-Riga Center Road (New York Route 33A) and Riga-Mumford Road (New York Route 36) on Chili-Riga Center Road.
