Planters Neck
1630-1930
Here in 1630-31 a company from Plymouth, under Abraham Robinson, established a fishing station
and built curing stages. For nearly two centuries and a half Annisquam was a fishing and ship-building center.
Marker is on River Road, on the right when traveling south.
