Little Flower Parish and School

Little Flower Parish and School, located in the Myrtle Grove area of West Pensacola, was founded in 1945 and 1946 respectively-- the latter by four Dominican Sisters from New York. Converted Old World War II barracks served as the original church and school.

The school opened with an enrollment of 106 students.

The present, Spanish-style church dates to 1960. This elegant building has held daily Masses and services for more than fifty years.

As the Myrtle Grove area developed and the parish became home to new families, it became necessary to build a parish center. This 10,000 square foot building completed in 2007, consists of pastoral offices and is home to the youth ministry and other church and school gatherings.
