Klinesville Historic District
Named after Miller Kline who operated a Dry Goods store, Post Office, and Tavern. Tavern House dates to the mid-18th century. A place of considerable business, area was then known as Mount Carmel.
Marker is at the intersection of Sand Hill - Klinesville Road and Thatcher Hill Road, on the right when traveling west on Sand Hill - Klinesville Road.
