King Street Church
Founded 1878
King Street Church moved to the southwest corner from the northeast corner of King and Second Streets in 1936, expanding to accommodate growth. For 63 years, the church was led by Dr. Clyde W. Meadows (1928-1961), and Dr. Paul B. Baker (1961-1991). Properties in this block are being used for the continued growth and ministry of the church under the leadership of Rev. Patrick B. Jones (1991 - )
