José Manuel Ramírez Rosales
A Chilean 49er, pioneer, artist, visionary and co-founder of the City of Marysville, who, in 1851, built this magnificent home known as “The Castle” with timber brought from Chile.
Marker is on 5th Street, on the right when traveling east.
