John Dangberg House

This house was designed for John Dangberg by Frederic DeLongchamps, a noted architect throughout the West. Construction was completed in 1912. John was one of the Dangberg Brothers who founded Minden in 1906. Dangberg Land and Livestock Company established the town and laid out the square, now known as Minden Park. The first houses around the square were built by employees of his company.

Marker is at the intersection of Sixth Street and Esmeralda Avenue, on the left when traveling north on Sixth Street.
