Japanese Torpedo

This type 93 Torpedo is the largest enemy

weapon of its kind encountered in World War II.

It is 29½ feet long, 24 inches in diameter

and carries over 1,000 lbs. of explosive in the

war head. At the low speed setting of 40 knots

a maximum range of approximately 30,000 yards

is obtained.
