This house was designed by the architectural firm of Purcell and Feick from Minneapolis. Built in 1909 by Mr. and Mrs. J. D. R. Steven, it is a fine example of Prairie School architecture. Mr. Steven was part owner of the Eau Claire Book and Stationary Company.
Designated October Twenty Third Nineteen Hundred and Seventy Six
Marker is at the intersection of Second Avenue and Hudson Street, on the right when traveling south on Second Avenue.
