Industrial High School
When Industrial High opened in 1914, it was the first African American high school in Palm Beach County and housed grades one through twelve. The last class graduated in 1950 when a new school, Roosevelt Junior-Senior High School, was opened. The old Industrial High School building, renamed Palmview Elementary, teaches grades one through seven. Other campus buildings of Old Industrial High School have been demolished, with the exception of the chapel.
