Used by Washington as a lookout while quartered at the Dey House, October, 1780. Major Parr’s Rifle Corps. camped in the ravine.
Marker is at the intersection of Rifle Camp Road and Old Rifle Camp Road, on the right when traveling north on Rifle Camp Road.
