Erected in observance of the 50th anniversary of the American Legion by Post 469 Wrightsville, Penna. on May 30, 1969.
Marker is at the intersection of N. Fourth Street and Lincoln Highway (Pennsylvania Route 462), in the median on N. Fourth Street.
