Kark O. Olfers
who willed this site and building known as Olfers Garage to the City of Lovelock for the use of the Lovelock Fire Department. A charter member of this department, since June 10, 1934 he served as Chief from January 1, 1938 to June 12, 1962. Dedicated this fourth day of July 1967 that all men may remember Karl O. Olfers
Marker is on Cornell Avenue (Business Route 80 at milepost 106), just south of 12th Street, on the right when traveling north.
