Charles H. Turner House

Charles Turner, a Pensacola contractor, created this local adaptation of Queen Anne style in 1896 by adding Victorian details to a one-story, hipped-roof cottage. Later he embellished the house with Classical Revival columns and other trim. Three generations of the Turner family lived in the house, preserving the original cypress woodwork and many of the original light fixtures.
