Brookville Historic District

Platted 1808 along Whitewater River, Brookville was an important entry point to interior lands opened to settlement. The district's concentration of well-preserved buildings reflects the city's continued prosperity. Brookville Historic District listed in National Register, 1975.

Marker is on Main Street (U.S. 52) south of East 5th Street, on the left when traveling south.
