On the hill south is the
site of the gallows where
Major John Andre, British
spy, was hanged, and
buried, on Oct. 2, 1780.
Marker is at the intersection of Old Tappan Road and Andre Hill and Old Tappan Road, on the left when traveling west on Old Tappan Road.
