This brigade, with its regiments in order from left to right as above, came up with Cleburne's brigade at about 9 A.M. April 6, 1862 and joined that brigade in an attack upon the Union lines, and being assisted by brigades of Johnson and Russell carried the position at Shiloh Church at 10 A.M. The 20th La. and 9th Texas were to left of Pittsburg road, the other regiments on right of road.

Marker is on Corinth Road 0.1 miles north of Peabody Road, on the left when traveling north.
