This regiment was in reserve here from 9 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. April 6, 1862. It then moved by right flank down
Tilghman Creek and engaged Wharton's Cavalry which
was moving by flank up the creek. It was next engaged at 15th Ill. camp.
Marker can be reached from Corinth Road ¼ mile east of Eastern Corinth Road, on the right when traveling east.
